I can't believe we have to do this again.
More accurately, I can't believe that I have to do this again. But I should not be surprised. All of life is a series of cycles. Breathe in, breathe out. Consume, digest, expel. Grow and die.
What we are seeing now is just part of that cycle. Which part? That's our job to figure out. We can assume that we are always in the decline portion of the cycle. But that assumes an outside vantage point. There is no neutral observer, no God watching over us. Only existence, which we are smack dab in the middle of.
So here I am again, writing on the computer and submitting it to the Internet for others to read. I won't be sending an email blast to all of the kids in my class again like 2002 - I'm smarter than that. But I do hope that Ricky Saxton finds this message one day.
